Tapping stations are the interfaces between the snowmaking system and the snowmakers. Tapping stations can be made of various materials and produced in a variety of shapes and sizes. Demac manufactures tapping stations made of glass reinforced plastics (GRP). Our choice in favour of this light yet very resilient material was made for more than one reason: Our tapping stations allow fast and simple transport and connection to the field lines. Positive feedback from our customers verifies that we have made the right choice. High quality and fitness for the purpose are characteristic of this highly reliable product. A must for modern high-grade snowmaking systems.

All tapping stations are equipped with all the required connections and accessories. The roomy shaft can be reached trough the access hatch, while the snowmaker is positioned on a separate opening through which water, air, power and control lines are laid.

Upon request, we can also provide similarly equipped concrete tapping stations. The B150 concrete version has a 1.2 m x 1.0 m footprint at 1.5 m height. Defined by customer requirements, they are available with 1, 2 or 3 elements + lid.
