MOUNTAIN INFRASTRUCTURE
Snowmaking systems can be compared with the human body: The pumping station represents the heart, while the on-mountain infrastructure stands for veins and arteries. They supply the snowmakers with water, electricity and compressed air, the basic ingredients of automatic snowmaking. Proper dimensioning of a snowmaking system is the key to a powerful and cost-effective production. The exact definition of the properties of pipes and cables is a result of calculations in our engineering department, based on our customers' individual requirements. An important element of each system are the anchoring boxes. A Demac speciality are snowmaking shafts made of fiberglass. This product allows fast and simple transport as well as connections to both water and electricity lines. Of course, we can also supply the traditional concrete shafts as well as hydrants/electrants.
